Francesca Raimondi

Dr Raimondi is a pediatric cardiologist, with a peculiar interest and skills in non invasive cardiac imaging. After full training as pediatric cardiologist in Bambino Gesu Hospital in Rome under the direction of Pr Stephen Sanders, she leaded the non-invasive Pediatric Cardiac Imaging activity by MRI anc CT scan from 2012 to 2021 in Hopital Necker Enfants Malades in Paris. She has Granparenting/Certification level 3 of ESC for Congenital Cardiac MRI and also for Cardiac CT scan. In 2019 she got the HDR, Université de Paris (national academic accreditation for Full Professor); she has an honorary research position in the Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences group, King’s College, London, and in Decision and Bayesian Computation, Computation biology department, Institut Pasteur, Paris.
Since October 2021 she runs the new Unit of non-invasive cardiac Imaging (Pediatric Cardiology Unit) in Azienda Ospedaliera Meyer, Florence.
She is MRI liason officer of AEPC Imaging working group since 2022 and also Chair of SCMR/CHD section since 2022.
