I was born in Bergamo and, in 1998, I graduated in Medicine at the “Università Statale di Milano”. In 2003, I specialized in Cardiac Surgery at the “Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia”. Finally, in 2017, I obtained the ECFMG certification in Philadelphia.

Starting from 2003, I have performed surgical procedures sharing my activity both in adult and in pediatric and congenital cardiac surgery. After a period of study in England, since 2008, I have focused on pediatric cardiac surgery and adult congenital heart disease with particular attention to valve reconstruction and minimally invasive approaches.

Starting from 2019 I have been working in Bologna at the Policlinico di Sant’Orsola IRCCS, and finally I had the opportunity to complete my training also in the field of mechanical circulatory support and transplants.
